Overview
Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women (PE4PW) provides temporary, immediate Medi-Cal coverage for qualifying pregnant patients' prenatal ambulatory care while a full Medi-Cal application is pending. PE4PW is not a substitute for the full Medi-Cal application.

- 2.If presumptively eligible, prenatal ambulatory care may begin immediately.
- 3.A full Medi-Cal application must still be submitted and processed for continued coverage.
