Children's Presumptive Eligibility (CPE) provides temporary coverage for eligible children, allowing timely access to health assessments, screening and preventive services, immunizations, applicable lab testing, health education, and referrals while a full Medi-Cal application is pending.

How to get started

  1. 1.Speak with our team about screening your child for CPE.
  2. 2.If presumptively eligible, covered services may begin immediately.
  3. 3.A full Medi-Cal application must still be submitted for continued coverage.
